Symptoms of faulty injectors would be low engine power, poor fuel economy and misfiring.
Before we mount the injectors in the injector testor, we must check that the o-rings on the injectors are all in good condition. While testing the injectors, the injectors should leak no more than one drip per minute. None of our injectors leaked any more than this amount.
As a conclusion of our tests, we found that 3 injectors should be replaced. No.2 spray pattern wasn't very good because it was not misty (atomised) like No.1,3,4. Also, doing the flow rate test, we found that injectors 3 and 4 were not opening/closing correctly as they did not fill up the cylinder as fast as 1 and 2. So with this info, we would replace injectors 2,3, and 4.
